Dr. Hudgins was raised in the Carbondale and Murphysboro area. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois (1983), his dental degree from Northwestern University (1987), and his specialty in Orthodontics from the University of Nebraska (1989). After serving in the United States Navy, he returned to this area to begin his practice in 1992.
The American Board of Orthodontics conferred certification upon Dr. Hudgins during its February/March, 2000, Phase III Clinical Examination.
Dr. Hudgins is an avid believer in continuing education and always implementing the latest in technology into his practice. He also sponsors performing arts, sports and scouting programs. He resides in rural Murphysboro with his wife, Lane, and their sons, Cameron, Drew and Braden.
